Maanay, Mishthi clinch singles titles

JAMMU, Aug 31: Maanay Mansotra clinched the Men's Singles title, while Mishthi Aggarwal emerged winner in the Women's Singles category at the 3rd UTT J&K UT Ranking Table Tennis Championships 2026, organised by the Table Tennis Association of J&K in collaboration with Ultimate Table Tennis and J&K Sports Council under the initiatives "My Youth My Pride" and "Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan".

Maanay defeated Sourav Sharma by 3-1 in the Men's final, while Mishthi overcame Syrah Dewan by an identical scoreline in the Women's final. In the semifinals, Maanay defeated Akash by 3-1, while Sourav edged past Satyam by 3-2.

Myrah Dewan was the star performer, completing a hat-trick of titles by winning the Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19 girls' categories. Syrah Dewan also impressed, winning gold in Under-11 and Under-13 and claiming silver in Women's Singles.

Akshaj Garg secured two titles in Under-13 and Under-15 boys, while Satvik Nischal won Under-11 gold and two silver medals. Ahaan Anand won the Under-17 boys title after a hard-fought final against Advik Garg. Ujjwal Verma claimed the Under-19 boys title.
