JAMMU, Mar 14: BJP State president, Ravinder Raina in consultation with senior party leaders nominated new faces in the party who had recently joined the BJP at various functions. Among the new office bearers, Lt. General (Retd.) Rakesh Sharma has been nominated as BJP State spokesperson & incharge defence and security related Issues.
Adv. Abhinav Sharma has been nominated as State spokesperson and Member of Election Management Committee of the party.
Ashwani Chrangoo, a prominent Kashmiri leader, was also nominated as State Spokesperson on Kashmir Affairs.
Sat Pal Manhas (Retd. Chief Engineer) was nominated as BJP State Working Committee Member & Member of the BJP Election Management Committee.
Former MLAs Prof. Gharu Ram, Pawan Gupta & Baldev Sharma and former vice chairman, SC Board, Bhushan Dogra have been nominated as State Working Committee Members of the party.
Darshan Singh Thakkar, Raman Suri, Nitish Mahajan, Ravi Kumar Bakshi, Abhijeet Jasrotia, Bodh Raj Rao, Jagdish Raj Bhagat (Retd. Principal R.S. Pura) were also nominated as State Working Committee Members of the party.
