JAMMU, Oct 12: Lt Gen Harsha Gupta has taken over the charge as General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps from Lt Gen Paramjit Singh Sangha.
On assuming the Command of the Nagrota based Command, Lt Gen Gupta exhorted all ranks to continue working with the same zeal and enthusiasm and always be ready to thwart the nefarious designs of the enemy.
Meanwhile, Lt Gen Paramjit Singh Sangha before relinquishing command of the elite White Knight Corps, laid wreath at Ashwamedh Shaurya Sthal at Nagrota Military Station to pay tributes to the soldiers who have laid down their lives for the cause of the nation.
Lt Gen Sangha also addressed the troops of the White Knight Corps and conveyed his deep appreciation and compliments to all ranks for their professionalism and steadfast dedication to duty in the service to the nation.
He further called upon all ranks to rededicate themselves to strive for excellence and thanked the Civil Administration for the excellent synergy with Armed forces. At the same time, he praised people for displaying faith in the policies of the Government and maintaining peace in the region.
