JAMMU, Mar 29: Mahindra Last Mile Mobility (LMM), a division of Mahindra & Mahindra, has achieved a significant milestone by rolling out its 50,000th e-Alfa electric vehicle from its Haridwar Plant.
LMM offers both the e-Alfa Mini e-rickshaw and e-Alfa Cargo, with the former being one of the highest selling Mahindra electric three-wheelers since its launch in 2017. The cargo version was launched in 2021.
The e-Alfa boasts a sturdy full-metal body construction and a lead-acid battery pack. Both the e-Alfa Mini and Cargo produce 1.5 kW of peak power, with the Cargo variant being equipped with an optional high-torque gear for improved performance.
The real-world range of both vehicles is 80 km per charge. Mahindra is the only OEM to offer driver accidental insurance of Rs 10 lakh, 24×7 roadside assistance, and downtime guarantee. The e-Alfa also comes with a best-in-class vehicle warranty of 2 years (1 year standard + 1 year extended).
To celebrate this achievement, Mahindra dealers are offering customers an attractive Rs 7,500 exchange bonus scheme to upgrade to the superior e-Alfa Mini. With every e-Alfa Mini sold, customers will also receive an assured gift. Both offers are valid until stocks last.
Suman Mishra, CEO of Mahindra LMM, expressed happiness at achieving this milestone and highlighted the tremendous growth potential of the e-rickshaw segment. He added that the earning potential, trust of Mahindra, and solid reliability of their EVs make them a preferred sustainable option for customers.
Mahindra e-Alfa vehicles are available across India, subject to state regulations.
