JAMMU, May 28: Little Flower Higher Secondary School Greater Kailash held its Investiture Ceremony in the School premises to mark the inauguration of the Student Council for the Academic Session 2014-15, here today.
30 elected Council Members were decorated with sachets and badges.
The ceremonial pinning of badges and sachet was solemnized by the Principal, Meera Soni and the Vice Principal, S Malhotra.
The Head Girl, Sonia Sharma, Head Boy, Akashdeep Singh, Sports Captains, Tanisha Sharma and Manik Sharma, Discipline Captains Tania Katal and Sameer Sharma and the House Captains led the Council’s oath taking ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal, Meera Soni and the Vice Principal, S Malhotra congratulated the Council members and advised them to be humble, competent and responsible.
They also asked the students to uphold the value of honesty, loyalty, integrity and sportsmanship as vital qualities.
The ceremony finally ended with the National Anthem.
