RAJOURI, Oct 28: Two leopards and a bear created panic at Dandot in Budhal area of district Rajouri today.
Reports said many villagers locked themselves inside while others gathered away at one point keeping eye on these wild beasts. Earlier a bear appeared at the village and created terror. It remained there sitting for long. After some time two big wild cats, descended the village and one of them mounted a tree later. These animals created a drama for over 4-5 hours in the area. The people remained confined to their locked houses for long due to panic.
Later, SHO Budhal Sarweshar along with some police force and Wild Life team arrived there and they controlled the situation. They were trying to neutralize the wild animals when the last reports came in.
