JAMMU, Aug 12: A migrant labourer was found hanging today in Pounichak area of city outskirts.
“Rakesh Kumar (35) son of Hulashi Ram, resident of UP was found hanging today from a fan at a rented accommodation in Gole Panj Peer area, where he was presently residing,” a police official said, adding the deceased was a labourer by profession.
He said the body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPC was initiated in this connection at police post Pounichak.
