RAJOURI, Dec 20: A labourer was killed after he was engaged in the road construction work in Khah Jamola area today.
A police spokesman said that one Abdul Latief, son of Abdul Samad, resident of Kund Khari in Banihal area was working on the PMGSY road in Khah area. During road widening exercise, a boulder from the hill, hit the poor worker killing him on the spot. His body was later shifted to Rajouri District Hospital for postmortem. The police has taken cognizance of the matter. He had come here from Banihal area to work during winter months.
