JAMMU, Aug 26: A KVIC PMEGP EDP Module-I sponsored by Khadi & Village Industries Commission Jammu and conducted by SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI-RSETI) Jammu, concluded at Bantalab, Jammu, in which 19 candidates from different parts of Jammu district participated.
On this occasion, a small but impressive function was organized in which certificates of participation were distributed by Pawan Gupta, Executive Officer, Khadi & Village Industries Board, Jammu.
While speaking on the occasion, Gupta asked the candidates for taking maximum advantage of PMEGP Scheme. He also assured them that every possible help/guidance will be extended to them for addressing the difficulties faced by them in starting/running their business ventures.
Director, RSETI, Virender Kumar Sood, maintained that many training programmes like Cutting & Tailoring, AC & Refrigerator Repair, Electrical Home Appliance Repair, Computer Basics, Soft Toys Making, Beauty Parlor Management and Computer Hardware & DTP etc will be conducted by the RSETI depending upon local requirement.
He said SBI RSETI which is aimed at skill building of prospective small entrepreneurs/borrowers specially for rural youth, is unique as it is intensive short term residential self employment training programme with free food and accommodation designed especially for unemployed youth.
