JAMMU, Dec 21: KV Damana organized annual day and prize distribution function with pomp and show in Police Auditorium, Gulshan Ground, here.
Simrandeep Singh, Deputy Commissioner Jammu was the chief guest and Avany Lavasa SDM, Janipur and also nominee chairman of VMC was the guest of honour.
The programme started with lighting of lamp and invocation to goddess Sarswati by chief guest and other dignitaries.
CR Bhagat, Principal of the Vidyalaya welcomed the chief guest and other guests and presented the annual report highlighting various achievements of the Vidayalaya.
This was followed by a cultural bonanza including Dogri, Assamese and Punjabi dance which spell bond everyone including the beautiful action song conveying a pain of separation of army personnel from their families.
About 112 students were distributed prizes who were placed at 1st position in various activities held during the session.
Chief guest, Simrandeep in his address laid emphasis on quality education and lauded the efforts of the students and staff for brilliant performance.
