JAMMU, Feb 11: Concerned over the deteriorating condition of APMCC chief Vinod Pandit who is on fast unto death for last 13 days at Porbandar, various KP organizations today warned the Central and State Government of serious consequences if immediate steps were not taken to address the problems of exiled Pandits projected by him.
ASKPC which held a meeting of its Women Cell and Youth Wing accused the Central and State Governments of being a silent spectator to the problems of the exiled Pandits and this attitude has forced the community youth to go on fast unto death.
The women Cell meeting was chaired by Veena Gurtoo its president and among others it was addressed by Rubby Matto secretary while the youth wing meeting was chaired by Ravi Raina its president who demanded immediate settlement of demands projected by Pandit.
Meanwhile, BJP national convener, T N Razdhan also came openly in support of Mr Pandit and termed all the demands projected by him as genuine. He urged the Government to solve the problems at an earliest otherwise all nationalist forces will join the struggle.
KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri while extending full support to Mr Pandit criticized the Government for being mute spectator to Mr Pandit’s fast who has taken up a genuine cause of exiled Kashmiri Pandits forced to flee from Kashmir by terrorists.
According to King C Bharti the national spokesman of the APMCC more organizations and leaders from Porbandar and Gujarat have extended full support of Mr Pandit and warned both state and Central governments against their rigid attitude.
