JAMMU, Oct 9: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) today said that Kashmiri terrorists who have picked up guns and waged a war with the Indian nation can’t be called the misguided youth.
In a statement issued here, today, KPC president, Kundan Kashmiri urged the Government that these terrorists should not be called as misguided youth as they are responsible for bleeding India in Kashmir over last three decades. He also warned against offering jobs to them and said that the people who waged the war against a welfare State should be strictly dealt as per the law of the land and should not be shown any mercy.
KPC president, while addressing a meeting of his organization at New Delhi today said the appeal of L G, Manoj Sinha to local terrorists to shun the path of violence by luring them with jobs and incentives is not going to yield fruit as in over last seven decades GOI has pursued the same policy in Kashmir and the result is in front of entire nation today. He said seven lakh minority Pandits and other Hindus have been forced by them to leave Kashmir and they are leading an exiled life outside Valley depending on Government and some social organizations support for their sustenance.
Kashmiri said these people have brought a shame to rich cultural values of Kashmir and Indian democracy and hence be treated in the same way as the traitors are being treated.
He said these terrorists are actually indoctrinated Jihadis not misguided youths and their objective is to get rid of non Muslims, secede from India and to join Pakistan. In pursuit of this objective, they are willingly getting killed to become martyrs and find place in the heavens. Lots of funds are being pumped from various channels to bleed India, fight its security forces and malign it globally on account of human rights, he added.
Senior vice president, KPC, Tej Pandita stated that how long shall our leaders remain in the state of denial and camouflage these hardcore, radicalized and diehard terrorists of Kashmir by shield of misguided youth. Was Burhan Wani a misguided youth, what were the credentials of Afzal Guru, he asked?
Dr. HL Saraf general secretary KPC and Susheel Ji Bhat its secretary also addressed the meeting.
