NEW DELHI, Sept 26: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) today while highlighting the problems of the displaced Pandits from the Valley has urged the Government to settle the long pending demands of the community which was hounded out from Valley due to man made disaster over 25 years ago.
In a statement issued here, today KPC chief Kundan Kashmir said that GoI should hold parlays with community leadership on the problems being faced by it including its one time and one place settlement in Valley.
He said the Union Government should fulfill its promises made with displaced Pandits who are leading an exiled life for over two decades now and who have become rootless after they were hounded out from Kashmir valley.
Strongly advocating for abrogation of Article 370, he said the BJP should fulfill its promise in this regard as the controversial Article was a cause all mess in the State of J&K.
Terming the recent statement of Union Home Minster Raj Nath Singh that no talks will be held with the separatists as timely, he said Kashmir is a settled issue and an integral part of India and the only dispute is with the portion forcefully occupied by Pakistan.
