NEW DELHI, July 9: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) today joined the issue with National Conference (NC) over the Article 370 and said that the organization was ready for a nationwide debate on the same as the special status to J&K has done much harm to the people of the State and was responsible to the mass exodus of minorities from Valley.
Addressing the corner meetings of KPC activists in Union Capital and NCR, today KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri said that time is ripe for abrogation of Article 370 to save the State from further loss as the special status has been the cause of the backwardness of the people there.
Kashmiri also reiterated that KPC will observe the July 13 as black day as usual and extended full support to Jammu organizations who have also decided to observe the day as black day.
He said this day in 1931 was a signal to minorities to flee from Valley.
