KKHMS highlights migrants problems

JAMMU, Oct 6: Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Maha Sabha , (KKHMS), Kashmiri Khatri Youth Sabha (KKYS) and Displaced Kashmiri Unemployed Youth Union (DKUYU) in a meeting held here, today under the leadership of En Ramesh Chander Mahajan highlighted the various issues of Relief holders.
The meeting said that the present cash assistance of Rs 2500 per soul is not sufficient and hence be increased.
It said many displaced people are suffering from chronic diseases, psychiatric disorders and mental depressions. It said that the widows having no source of income are also in desperation and hence the cash assistance per soul be enhanced to Rs 7500 .
The meeting demanded that the medicare scheme benefits be extended to pensioners and those getting monthly pension less than 10,000 be given relief benefits as well.
