Kindergarden Wing of Heritage School celebrates Annual Sports day

JAMMU, Mar 4: Kindergarden Wing of Heritage School celebrated its 8th Annual Sports day with great fanfare and gusto in the school premises.
The meet was declared open by Sakina Itoo, Minister for Social Welfare, ARI, Training and Public Grievances in presence of JP Singh, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Neena Sodhi, staff members and parents.
On the occasion, students participated in various sports events including the beads race, frog race, umbrella race, hoopla race, rolling the ball and bouquet race.
Students also performed the mass drill with perfect timing, coordination and precision.
The highlight of the day was the vibrant and colourful grand finale in which the gummy bears captivated the audience by their skill-full dance moves.
While speaking, Sakina Itoo appreciated the well organized and perfectly executed event. She also complimented the management for their indefatigable efforts to bring out the best in the young ones.
Later, Sakina Itoo along with other dignitaries honoured the winners with medals and certificate of merit. The young gummy bears, who excelled in academics were also awarded with trophies and certificates for their meritorious work
At the end, Principal of the school JS Dhami presented vote of thanks.
