SRINAGAR, June 9: The police in Pulwama have recovered a 16-year-old girl within 24 hours of her reported kidnapping and arrested the accused involved in the case, officials said today.
According to police, a written complaint regarding the kidnapping of the minor was received at Police Station Pulwama, following which FIR No. 111/2026 was registered and an investigation was launched.
Special teams were constituted to trace the girl, and sustained investigation coupled with technical assistance led to her recovery within a day of the case being reported.
