Khanna launches ‘Bharat Ke Mann Ki Baat Modi Ke Saath’ at Srinagar

‘Party senior leaders should assume role of Vistaraks’

SRINAGAR, Feb 13 : BJP national vice president & J&K Prabhari, Avinash Rai Khanna, along with State general secretary, Sunil Sharma and other leaders, launched “Bharat ke mann ki Baat, Modi ke Saath”, here, today.
He addressed the gathering of delegations of over 22 Kashmir based Trade & Industry Associations, including Saffron Growers Association, Carpets and Handicrafts Association North Kashmir, Fruit Association North Kashmir, Youth Emporium, Guide Association Gulmarg, Transport Association Gulmarg, Shops Association Tangmarg, Industrial Union North Kashmir, Transport Association North, Beopar Mandal, Tailors Union J&K, Labour Union J&K, PHE Union, PDD Union, Gujar Association, Snow Slate Association, Tourist Guide Association, Centre Youth Research and Development, Shopkeeper Association Pulwama, Ali Asgar Relief and Blood Bank, 99 Eye Technology Association and Disabled Association.
Avinash Rai Khanna said that the exercise is aimed at democratising the process of preparing manifesto and this “unique experiment” will further strengthen democracy. “What kind of country people want and what is their suggestion to achieve this exercise will reach out to them to seek their views”, he added.
Khanna also said that election is not just for an individual candidate but for Government of the country and BJP targets to gain over 400 seats across the country. The raths have a feedback box in which people are giving their suggestions and even appreciation letters. The respond has been very encouraging because everyone gets a chance to contribute towards planning a new India under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
Later the Trader & Industry Associations delegations also dropped their suggestions in Rath box for the vision document for 2019 elections.
BJP State spokesperson, Altaf Thakur, Srinagar district president, Arif Raja were also present on the occasion.
The event was organized by BJP beneficiaries incharge, North Kashmir, Mohd. Anwar Khan and his team.
Later, Khanna also hoisted party flag in Indra Nagar, Srinagar under BJP’s campaign of ‘Mera Parivar -Bajpa Parivar’.
Earlier Khanna chaired a meeting of district Prabharis along with other senior party functionaries at party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
BJP State general secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, State vice-president, Harinder Gupta and State general secretary, Dr. Narinder Singh were also present in the meeting.
Khanna, while addressing the meeting, put thrust on the field work by the senior leaders of the party. He said that in these days all the party leaders have to assume the role of Vistaraks, while working dedicatedly in the field.
Ashok Kaul, in his address, discussed the details of the forthcoming party programmes with the party leaders. He discussed the arrangements for the “Panna Pramukh” Sammelan to be conducted by the party on February 24, under the leadership of BJP national president, Amit Shah.
Pawan Khajuria, Rajeev Charak, Aseem Gupta, Sanjay Baru, Pawan Sharma, Arvind Gupta, Veenu Khanna, Raghunandan Singh, Gurmeet Randhawa, Dalip Parihar, Arun Chibber, Munish Sharma, Priya Sethi, Shakti Parihar, Girdhari Lal Raina, Jaideep Sharma, Rakesh Mahajan and others attended the programme.
