KCSC defeats GKCC by 79 runs

Jammu, Dec 5: In the First round of the ongoing winter cup T-20 Cricket tournament KC Sports Club defeated Greater Kashmir Cricket Club team by   79 runs.
The tournament is being organised by the Whites Cricket Club at Country Cricket academy Ambhgrota.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, KCSC scored 171 runs losing all wickets in 20 overs. Shubam scored highest 53 runs, while Surya scored 26 and Parvaiz 25 runs respectively.
On GKCC side, Ranjeet Singh took 2 wickets by giving 31 runs in 4 overs, while Bharat took 2 wickets by giving 41 runs in 4 overs.   Sunny, Sudhant and Irfan took one wicket each.
Chasing the target, GKCC scored only 92 runs after losing   all 10 wickets and lost the match to KCSC by 76 runs. Sunny scored highest 26 run inning while Vivek Suri with 12 was the second highest scorers for GKCC.
In the bowling for KCSC side, Aman scalped 3 wickets in 4 overs, Bhanu and Arjun took 2 wickets each. Shubam was adjudged as the man of the match for his 53 runs’ inning.
Raghul and Goni were umpires, while Deepu maintained the scoreboard.
