JAMMU, Aug 23: Riding on brilliant all-round display by Hisham Saleem and magnificent batting show by Ramdayal, KCSC-B defeated KCSC-C by a big margin of 113 runs to enter into the next round of the ongoing KC Sports Club Cup 2019 at the Club’s ground, here.
Earlier, KCSC B won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, KCSC B scored a good total of 337 runs in 40 overs. Ramdayal scored superb 104 runs, while Hisham Saleem made splendid 80 runs and Sahil Bhalwal contributed 42 runs to the total. Muneeb Munaf and Yudhamanyu Singh took 2 wickets each, while Anmol Bhan claimed 1 wicket.
While chasing the target, KCSC-C managed to score 224 to lose the match by 113 runs. Musaif Ajaz top scored with 64 runs, while Muneeb Munaf contributed 60 runs to the total. Nawaz Rather chipped in with 20 runs. Hisham Saleem and Vijay Dogra took 3 wickets each. Hisham Saleem was declared as the man of the match and was awarded with a Gift Voucher sponsored by Ramada Hotel.
