JAMMU, Nov 11: KC International School Jammu celebrated its 11th Annual Day ‘Apotheosis’ at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, here.
The School Orchestra commenced the grandeur with their symphony followed by lighting of tradition lamp by the chief guest Kavinder Gupta, Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, who was accompanied by guest of honour, Basant Rath, DIG, Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban Range.
The Vice Principal Of the School, Anupama Sinha introduced and welcomed the guests followed by ‘Colour Spark’-a glittering extravaganza by the toddlers of KCIS.
Principal, Subhendu Sarkar presented the Annual Report, highlighting the achievements of the institution.
‘Apotheosis’ based on the seven wonders of the World depicted the cultural, traditional and connectivity of seven ancient counties and civilizations of the world which left the audience spellbound.
The main attraction was the ‘Doklam Stand’ and ‘Brick Summit’ in which the glimpses of recent contemporary India its struggles and grandeur were depicted. Meritorious students and national and international achievers of the school, best teachers and best workers were felicitated by the chief guest and the School Management.
A colourful medley marking the curtain call ended the programme with a formal vote of thanks proposed by the Vice Chairman, Chaitanya Chowdhary.
The programme was conceptualized and coordinated by Kesar Patel, Headmistress and Rajni Malhotra, Activity Coordinator of the School.
