Kashmir FC loses by a solitary goal in U-19 I-League

New Delhi, Feb 4: In the second round of I-League Under-19, Kashmir FC lost by a solitary goal to formidable Hindustan FC in the ongoing Under-19 I-League Rest of India group here.
In the first half, Kashmir FC had the major share of possession and created several chances. Assar Mohd and Adnan Ayub made some penetrating attacks for their side but could not succeed to convert them into goals. In the 43rd minute, Farhaan Ganie of Kashmir got close with his attempted free kick, missing the goal by a whisker. Both the teams played neck to neck in the first half and the half ended ina goalless draw.
However, the only goal came in the 49th minute when Gagan from Hindustan FC pelted the ball into the net.
The next match for the Kashmir FC against TATA Academy will be the real litmus test for the team as the will try to regain the points in the group.
