JAMMU, Dec 10: Karun scored a brilliant hat-trick as Churchill Brothers defeated Akhnoor Tigers by four goals to one (4-1) in the ongoing 4th Sher-e-Kashmir Gold Cup Football Tournament, being organized by Youth National Conference, under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association at GGM Science College Football Ground, here today.
Karun pelted the goals in 17th, 55th and 58th minute, while Moon Stephen scored another goals in 59th minute. Pankaj was the goal scorer for Akhnoor Tigers in 48th minute of the match.
Meanwhile, match between SRTC and Young Rovers could not be completed due to bad light. Both the teams failed to score in the stipulated time and the penalties were on when the bad light stopped play.
