JAMMU, Aug 17: A 10 -member delegation of Kapalmochan Shrine Shopian met Deputy Commissioner Shopian and demanded that all arrangements be made for Yatris at Kapalmochan Digam Shopian during the up coming Hawan and Shravan-Bah festivals.
Deputy Commissioner assured the delegation that all the arrangements and facilities will be made available to the yatries at Kapalmochan Nagbal Shopian from August 24 to September 1. The facilities included, installation of tent, providing drinking water, medical care, adequate security, bedding, electricity, seating arrangements etc.
The meeting was also attended by SSP Shopian, ACD Development, Chief Medical Officer, Tehsildar, Executive Engineer, R&B, Deputy Director, Tourism, Assistant Director Fisheries, Assistant Director FSC&CS, Assistant Director Floriculture, Executive Officer Municipality and Incharge Fire and Emergency Services.
The delegation was led by S N Saraf, president Kapal Mochan Shopian. Meanwhile, the president of the Shrine has said that the Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner Jammu, K K Sidha has agreed to provide buses for the yatris to holy shrine from Jammu on nominal charges.
