JAMMU, Apr 16: Avtar Krishan Bhat has been elected as president of Kashmiri Pandit Society, Bahadurgarh, Haryana the elections of which were held today.
Ashok Bhat was elected as general secretary of the Society.
Later president nominated Bushan Lal Ganjoo as chairman of the Society, Rakesh Sathoo as senior vice president , V K Pandita as vice president, Opinder Chandra as organizing secretary, Manoj Bhat as treasurer and Sunil Pandita as auditor.
Besides S N Saproo, Dr H N Pandita, H L Bhan, Sunil Kaul, Lokesh Qazi, S L Bhat, Ravi Bhat, Ravi Qazi and V K Kachroo were nominated to Executive Body as its members.
