JU’s Kathua Campus organizes National Level e-Quiz

KATHUA, June 3: Department of Computer Science & IT, Kathua Campus, University of Jammu has successfully conducted a national level e-Quiz on “Data Structures and Algorithms” (NLQDSA-2k20) from May 28 to June 3, 2020.
A total number of 3085 participants from all over the country have participated in the e-Quiz.
The e-Quiz covered questions on Data Structures and Algorithms and the e-certificates have also been issued to those participants who have secured more than 50 percent in the activity.
Professor Meena Sharma, Rector Kathua Campus and Chief Coordinator Campuses, University of Jammu lauded the efforts of the department for organizing the first national level online activity.
She stated that in the current circumstances faced by India and the world due to COVID-19, there is a need to organize activities that can engage the academicians in general and students in particular.
She added that although the pandemic has created massive impact on human social life and economy of the country, the education fraternity feels blessed to carry forward the teaching-learning process amidst the havoc.
Sourabh Shastri, Organizing Secretary NLQDSA-2k20 and In-charge Head, MCA Department emphasized that indulgence in comparable activities are very beneficial for the students in enhancing and sharpening their knowledge and simultaneously assures that more of similar activities will be undertaken in near future.
