JAMMU, Sept 16: The Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu rescheduled the Inter-Collegiate Tournaments 2014-15 which were postponed in view of the flash floods and closure of Colleges by the Government.
The dates were decided unanimously in a meeting of the Physical Directors / PTI’s of the various Colleges held today at the office of the Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.
As per the fresh dates, Inter-Collegiate Judo (Men) Championship will be held on September 22 and 23, 2014, while Inter-Collegiate Judo (Women)Championship will be held on September 24, 2014.
Basketball (Women) Tournament will be held from September 22 onwards, while Wrestling (Men) Championship will be held on September 25 and 26, 2014 and (Women) on September 27, 2014.
Kho-kho (M&W) Tournament will be held from September 25 onwards, while Badminton (M&W) will be held from September 29, 2014 onwards.
Meanwhile, Basketball (Men) Tournament will be held on October 8, 2014, while Football (Women) Tournament will take place from October 13, 2014.
The Inter-Collegiate Cross Country (Men) and Inter-Collegiate Cross Country (Women) Championship will be held on December 15 and December 16, 2014 respectively.
