JAMMU, Feb 13: Rejecting Vice-Chancellor Prof M P S Ishars appeal, the Class-IV employees and contractual workers in Jammu University continued their ongoing token stir, which entered into 10th day today.
The Vice-Chancellor today personally appeared before the protesting employees and appealed them to call off their stir as the matter of regularization was in process. Prof Ishar said that he was personally looking into the matter for its early disposal.
However, the protesting employees refused to call off stir stating that they had been getting similar replies from the JU administration for the last one year.
Later, the protesting employees held a demonstration in front of the Administration block and also took out a rally on the campus.
