JTC, SKF continue protest for 60th consecutive day

JAMMU, Nov 30: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) continued their protest for the 60th day in Jagti Township.
The protest was led by President of the JTC and SKF Shadi Lal Pandita, who while speaking informed about the postponment of the protests to be held outside Press Club Jammu and Governor House.
The protestors demanded enhancement of monthly relief from Rs 13,000 to Rs 25,000 per family per month.
While speaking, Pandita appealed to the Election Commission to get their information from the Relief Department in advance for the upcoming elections.
He demanded permanent rehabilitation in Kashmir by building Satellite townships near Baramulla, Srinagar and Anantnag with political and minority status, provide jobs to those families where there is no Government employee, provide free ration to pensioners whose pension is very low, payment of balance ex-gratia of gutted houses, etc.
Among others present were Ravinder Koul, ML Razdan, Vijay Bakshi, Kamal Pandita, Vinod Moza, Rakesh Ambardar, JL Koul, SL Kar, Vicky Langoo, Sanjay Sharma, Vijay Tickoo, CL Koul, etc.
