JAMMU, Oct 13: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) was held here today under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita , president, JTC and SKF.
During the course of meeting various issues were discussed thread bare and the participants expressed their grave concern over delay in release of cash assistance relief in favour of the migrants for the month of September, 2016.
While addressing the meeting Pandita said that the relief holders have the cash doles being provided by the Government only source of their livelihood and with holding the same adds to their sufferings as they are unable to meet their day to day domestic expenses with shortage of money.
Pandita has further said that the ration for the month of September too has not yet been released in favour of the relief holders which has further added to their sufferings.
Pandita demanded that the Government should take immediate steps in releasing the cash assistance as well as ration for the Migrant relief holders putting up at Jagti and other camps and non camps to mitigate their sufferings.
