JAMMU, Jan 21: Continuing its inspection drive, Electric Sub Division-I (Distribution), Jammu Power Development Corporation Limited (JKPDCL) today raided various houses in Gandhi Nagar, Channi Himmat, Sainik Colony, Narwal and adjoining areas during which arrears to the tune of about Rs 10 lakh were recovered on spot from consumers.
The inspection team was headed by Sardari Lal, Assistant Executive Engineer and was comprised AE and concerned Feeder Managers and other field officials. The drive was conducted under the direct supervision of P D Singh, Executive Engineer.
During the drive, inspection squads disconnected power connections of 9 consumers and recovered Rs 10.0068 lakh on the spot from consumers who have not paid their arrear amount till date.
