JAMMU, Oct 14: Jodhamal Youth Conclave culminated with great zeal and zest, here today.
Dr Nirmal Singh, Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly was the chief guest on the concluding function, while Dr Sophia Jaan was the guest of honour and Col Shikhar was the special guest.
Nirmal Singh’s much-appreciated speech was filled with advice regarding diplomacy, challenges faced by young individuals and used examples from his personal life to aptly educate the audience.
He explained that diplomacy is an art of putting an idea into someone else’s mind and using their strength to get your own work done.
Earlier, the Committees had rigorous deliberations and discussions in their respective areas. Two days of serious discussions enriched each delegate and all appreciated the way the Youth Conclave was conducted with international levels.
The Committee presidents announced the results during the closing ceremony and the chief guest gave away the prizes to the delegates.
Babar Bilal Malik from DPS Srinagar was adjudged Best Delegate in Hindustan Cabinet, Vansh Sharma of KC International as Best Delegate in Lok Sabha, Shareen Kalra of Presentation Convent best delegate in AIPPM, Asma Shakeen of DPS Srinagar best delegate for Code Red, Prabin Singh of Jodhamal best delegate for Indian Special Committee on Religion and Terror, Vaani Kumar &PriyanshiKhuda of Jodhamal the best delegate for Indian Press Meet, Junaid Yasin Malik of Law School Jammu best delegate for NCW and Nabil Akhter from DPS Srinagar the best delegate for All India Students Meet.
Asmi Abrol of KC International, SussaneAftab of DPS Srinagar, Varinda Salgotra and Rihual Jain of KC International, Vaibhav Singh and Vihaan Kapoor of Jodhamal Public School, Abhijot Singh of ASN School, Maryam Mir of DPS Srinagar and Harshvardhan Oberoi of DAV Public Amritsar. Honourable Mentions are Nosheen and Shivam Sharma of G D Goenka, Coral Sharma, VasuDev Singh Chib, Soham Rajput and Vanshika Sharma of KCIS, Aaradhya Gupta, Raghav Gupta, Kritnay Sharma and ShababAlam of Jodhamal Public School, Hayaan Naim and Muskan Latif of DPS Srinagar, Mohd. Aziz urRehman of Welham Boys, Alina Mehta of Presentation Convent School and Shaurya Talwar of DAV Amritsar were declared outstanding delegates.
