JAMMU, Oct 14: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) zone president, Jammu West, Puneet Singh Jamwal today urged the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) authorities to intensify their drives and check adulteration ahead of festival season.
He said that the resolve of coalition Government is to give people the best administration which is sensitive to public issues and ensures that markers are not flooded with adulterated food items ahead of this season where people make purchases in haste.
Taking into consideration health of commoners, the health wing of JMC must be on its toes to check influx of adulterated products, especially dairy and sweets which are in great demand during the season.
We are committed to welfare of people and have mandate to take good care of their health. Keeping in view the fact authorities including metrology, health, JMC, PHE, Public Distribution System (PDS) and PDD must ensure that people get best of services during the season. The Government has already blacktopped all city roads and peripheries for the conveniences of commuters.
