JAMMU, Mar 15: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Anil Masoom today started blacktopping work at Dewana Mandir road here as the same remained a long pending demand of the locals there.
The blacktopping work is being executed by Public Works Department.
After this, Masoom along with AEE and JE visited Ward 10 and met locals who put forth various issues such as construction and repair of pending lanes-drains, blacktopping of the main roads and interior lanes etc.
The Councillor assured that all the genuine demands will be redressed in a time-bound manner.
He further added that development work going on at Dewana Mandir road is already being completed with the cooperation of locals of the area.
Prominent citizens of Ward 10 including Vishav Partap Singh, Ram Parkash, Bhanu Singh, Vikey Suni, Umesh Suni, Nikhil Mahajan, Sunny, Sahil, Rahul, Parul, Tarun, Rajesh Kholi, Nipun, Rohit Kumar and Tinku were also present on the occasion.
