JAMMU, Mar 14: A deputation of All J&K Pensioners’ Association (JKPA) led by Madan Lal Abrol, general secretary, called on Parvez Dewan, Advisor to Governor N N Vohra and submitted a memorandum of demands for reasonable and genuine solution.
The demands highlighted by the deputation included removal of anomalies in SRO-94 dated 15-4-2009 qualifying service plus relaxation of this rule in order to protect them from financial loss, grant of old age pension to the pensioners on Central Government pattern, enhancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month, release of DA at 6% from July 2015 and immediate release of last and final 5th installment of 6th Pay Commission report’s arrear in favour of employees and pensioners, and immediate solution of all pending cases of pension pending in office of AG, J&K.
Yash Paul Sanson, Jadgish Dogra, Ashok Bhasin, Bushan Pargal, Des Raj Sharma, Puran Chand Khajuria, Dr Raj Kumar Gupta, Mohd Shaffi and Madan Lal Sharma were part of the deputation.
The Advisor gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured redressal of all their genuine grievances on priority.
