JKP outplays J&K Forest FC by 4-1

SRINAGAR, July 30: In the ongoing Annual League Football Tournament, two matches were played at Synthetic Turf TRC Ground, here.
In the first match of Super Division played between Rahim Green Football Club and Al-Bilal FC, none of the teams could score any goal and the match ended in a goalless draw.
The second match of the Premier Division was played between J&K Police XI & J&K Forest XI.
Both the teams tried to make moves but failed to score in early moments of the match, however, Nainjot Singh of J&K Police XI scored a goal in the 29th minute of 1st half. There were ups and downs in the first half. In the beginning of the 2nd half, Forest XI got a penalty kick for a gross offence by the J&K Police defender inside the penalty area and Rizwan scored a goal. J&K Police consolidated their position and virtually were on top for the rest of 2nd half.
They dominated the show and scored three more goals, two goals were scored by Vivek Dogra and one by Yaseen.
J&K Forest XI players lacked stamina and could not compete the tough side of J&K Police. Finally J&K Police defeated Forest XI by four goals to one.
The tournament is being organized by the District Football Association Srinagar, Medical Partner Rahim Green and Football Sponsor Sports International (VECTOR).
