JAMMU, Sept 20: J&K Olympic Association (JKOA) has finalized the list of athletes of various disciplines, manager, coaches and technical officials for upcoming 36th National Games, scheduled to be held in Gujarat from September 29 to October 22.
The Games Technical Conduct Committee (GTCC), constituted by the Indian Olympic Association has confirmed their entries and informed the JKOA, said Prof (Dr) Ashutosh Sharma.
According to Prof. Sharma, the J&K contingent will consist of 20 officials, 48 athletes and 22 technical officials whose entry has been confirmed by the GTCC 36h National Games-2022 till date.
Dr. Nimolak Singh, an international footballer, senior sports medicine specialist and senior vice-president of JKOA is the Chef-De-Mission of J&K contingent and has expressed full satisfaction after his visit to Ahmedabad for attending the meeting with GTCC 36 National Games. He also attended the meeting convened by Indian Olympic Association at Delhi and discussed all the formalities to be completed with regards to the participation in the Games.
Dr. Nirmolak Singh has submitted full report to JKOA after his visit to Ahmedabad where he discussed all modalities with the authorities to make sure the successful participation, comfortable stay, availability of accreditation cards to team members and officials well in time and arrangements for the advance party consisting of CDM and his staff.
