JKGB disburses loans under KCC scheme

JAMMU, Dec 31: J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB), Pallanwala, disbursed loans of Rs 70.00 lakh to 120 beneficiaries under Kissan Credit Card (KCC) scheme.
On the occasion, Vagish Chander, Chairman, J&K Grameen Bank, who was the chief guest, inaugurated the Kissan Credit Camp (KCC) cum awareness programme at village Pallanwala.
While speaking, Chander highlighted the initiatives taken by the bank for credit dispensation in the diversified activities for the purpose of setting up economic units for augmenting the income of the families and in turn overall development of the rural people through institutional credit.
MS Bhau, Area Manager Jammu also highlighted the policies and programmes of J&K Grameen Bank for facilitating financial Inclusion programme.
VK Sharma, Senior Manager, Microfinance and Financial Inclusion, J&K Grameen Bank apprised the large gathering of people about the various lending schemes of the bank for providing credit to agriculturists, business community, transporters etc.
An amount of Rs 70 lakh was disbursed on spot to the 120 beneficiaries by Vagish Chander.
SDO Agriculture Akhnoor, Panchs, Sarpanchs and representatives from other line departments were also present on the occasion.
In the end, Chaman Lal, Branch Head, Pallanwala presented vote of thanks.
