SRINAGAR, June 30: Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) today awarded Mir Iqbal, who works as reporter with Daily Excelsior from Srinagar, for his excellent coverage in sports activities and on diverse issues pertaining to sports and sports men.
The award was presented by Minister for Medical Education, and Youth Services & Sports, Taj Mohi-ud-Din after the concluding event of 22nd State Championship in Football-2013 at Polo Ground Srinagar.
JKFA, president, ZA Thakur and R K Kohli treasurer of the JKFA, Executive President and Chairman Sports Board and prominent former footballer Abdul Hameed Banday, sports personalities from police and civil administration.
