SRINAGAR, Aug 4: For good Health of the Association, a meeting of the Executive Committee of J&K Football Association was held at Lala Rukh Hotel, here.
President of the Association, Zamir Ahmad Thakur presided over the meeting, which was attended by 25 members across the State.
The meeting decided to implement Central Registration System in all the districts of the State.
It also decided to organize Grass-root Coaching course in which aspirants from all the districts will take part and be trained by the faculty of AIFF and Coaching Courses in different districts of the State will be held for the players under the supervision of JAKFA. The Association also decided to start the selection process in collaboration with All India Football Federation under the supervision of Nicolas Adam from AIFF in Srinagar for FIFA Under-17 World Cup in which India Team will take part in the Football Tournament to be held in different States of the Country in 2017.
Conduct of AFC ‘D’ & ‘C’ Coaching Course for the players will be undertaken by the Association, the members decided and it was also decided that JAKFA will host I-League 2nd Division matches at Srinagar/Jammu during the months of November December, 2015 in which top teams of the Country will participate.
The meeting also directed all the District Football Associations to complete their league and other tournaments immediately.
The winner of the Super Division League of Srinagar was cleared for participation for I-League C Division and it was decided that a selected team from Jammu will participate in another All India Level prestigious tournament of the Country.
