JAMMU, Nov 20: Jammu and Kashmir Agricultural Technocrats Association (JKATA) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president, Dr Surinder Radotra, here today, to highlight their genuine demands.
During the meeting, Radotra appealed the State Government for taking serious steps for the regularization of Agricultural technocrats on batch-wise manner for the amendment of Cabinet Decision vide dated August 4, 2011, to ensure that the over-aged technocrats do not suffer non-selection due to which they would have to sit idle for whole of their life.
He further added that to do equal justice with all Rehbar-e-Zirats (REZs), there is only way that those REZs who have attained the maximum age of entry in the Government services or are at the verge of the same, should be regularized first on priority basis and further the process should continue in phased manner.
In the meantime, he disclosed that Vishal Singh Manhas has been expelled from the post of Chairman of the Association with consent of executive body and behalf of REZs, for his anti-Association activities.
