JAMMU, Dec 12: A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) led by its State President Surinder Radotra met MLA Jammu West and State President, BJP, Sat Sharma and submitted a memorandum of demands.
The demands, which were projected in the memorandum were Inclusion of 7, 8 & 9 years from April1, 2007, benefits of old pension scheme for all VAEAs, reconsider pay-grade at par with JAEOs of the departments, frame service rules, equal status to BSc Agriculture at par with pay scale of veterinary and medicos and salary to VAEAs of phase 2nd and 3rd with arrears.
Radotra said that they projected their demands before Agriculture Minister Ghulam Nabi Hanjura and other functionaries of the State, but till today their demands are pending.
Sat Sharma gave a patient hearing to the demands projected by Surinder Radotra and assured that he will take up the issues of the Agriculture Technocrats with the concerned authorities for early redressal. He added that the demands projected by JKATA State President are genuine and will be redressed at the earliest.
Among others present were Amit Gupta, Bhupinder Jamwal, Tarun Jaral, Charanjit, Amit Balotra, Anil Dutta, Vivek Sharma, Vinod Sharma, Kuldeep Sharma, Gourav Jasrotia, Manpreet Singh, etc.
