MENDHAR, Mar 14: Pappu Club won the inaugural tie of the Volleyball Tournament being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police 6th Bn, under Civic Action Programme at Boys Higher Secondary School, here today.
The Tournament was inaugurated by DySP Rajinder Chib as the chief guest on the occasion, while Incharge Principal Government Higher Secondary School Mendhar, Mohd Rashied Khan was also present on the occasion.
In the inaugural match, Pappu Club defeated JKAP team by 5 points to advance in the Tournament.
10 teams drawn from Mendhar and surrounding areas are participating in the Tournament.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Mohd Zama, Mehmood Ahmed Qadri and commentator Vijay.
