JKAACL showcases ‘Ek Shaam Veeron Ke Naam’

SAMBA, Feb 16: To pay tribute to the martyrs, J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages (JKAACL) here today presented a mesmerizing music & dance programme titled ‘Ek Shaam Veeron Ke Naam’.
Gulchain Singh Charak, president Dogra Sadar Sabha was chief guest on this occasion while Mahinder Singh, former Chairman, Jammu Central Co-operative Bank was guest of honour and Lt. Gen. R.K Sharma (retired) was special guest.
Addressing the gathering the chief guest described professionalism, competence and courage of soldiers of Jammu as unparallel.
He congratulated JKAACL for presenting the programme highlighting patriotism in our country which shows great love for our brave soldiers.
The programme started with Dogri folk by Amit Kumar and Party followed by Dogri folk singing by Rakesh Kumar & Party.
After this Raman Salathia left everyone stunned with his song and the programme culminated with the presentations by Milan Cultural and Social Organisation which presented Punjabi songs.
Rakesh Kona & Party showcased Dogri Dance form ‘Phumniyaan’ and Razia Akhthar & Party staged Dogri folk Dance.
The programme was conducted by Megha Choudhary and coordinated by Sanjeev Gupta, SOCA Kathua.
