JKAACL organises ‘Bhajan Sandhya’

VIJAYPUR, Feb 27: Sub Office of J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL), Kathua organised the programme ‘Bhajan Sandhya’ at Ravi Dass Temple, Ramgarh near here today.
A large number of folk artists and pilgrims witnessed the musical event organized under the guidance of Secretary JKAACL, Bharat Singh.
Swami Khadak Giri Ji Maharaj was chief guest and he requested for more such programmes in near future.
Sanjeev Gupta SOCA, JKAACL Sub-Office, Kathua said that such presentations always keep the folks of the region connected with their roots.
He assured to request the authorities of JKAACL to hold such programmes at major shrines of Samba and Kathua in coming days.
The programme started with the captivating Krishan Leela presented by Ravi Sharma & Party.
The programme was further taken over by the vibrant singing of Suman Lata and Party followed by the presentations of Subash Chander & Party, Vidya Devi & Party, Rashpal & Party, Sunita Devi & Party and Nirmal Kumar & Party.
The programme concluded with a soulful presentation by Narinder Singh & Party.
The programme was conducted by Sat Pal Singh.
