JAMMU, Dec 30: Jammu and Kashmir bagged a good haul of medals in the 10th National Taekwondo Champi-onship, held under the aegis of Taekwondo Board of India at Daman, recently.
The State team participated in the Championship, under the banner of Indo Oman Shotokan Karate-Do Association (IOSKDA) of India.
The players who won medals in this event included the students from KNIT Green Model Academy, Sangrampura, Jammu namely Shruti (2 gold), Anirudh (1 gold and 1 bronze), Harsh (1 bronze).
The students from Kathua namely Riaz Ahmed and Pradyum got silver medal while Inder, Akhil and Lalit claimed bronze medals. The students from IOSKDA Club who won medals included Shalini Bandral (1 gold and 1 bronze), Swati Rajput (1 silver) and Indu Sumbria and Rajat Bandral got bronze medals.
The State team participated in the Championship under the supervision of Ravinder Singh, Bhanu Partap and Ram Singh.
