SRINAGAR, June 15: J&K Veterans Athletic Association held a meeting which was presided over by Manzoor Ahmed Mir, Senior Advocate J&K High Court, here.
Apart from other decisions, periodical General Election of the Association was held on the occasion, wherein MS Baba, former Chief Sports Officer J&K State Sports Council was elected President of the Association.
Syed Ahmed Majeed Indrabi, Ex-Administrative Officer J&K State Sports Council was nominated Patron of the Association, while Capt Jagdish Chander was elected as the General Secretary. Nusrat Ara and Pritam Singh Jmawal were elected as the Senior Vice Presidents of Kashmir and Jammu respectively, while Sheikh Tulal (Kashmir) and Nirdosh Kumar (Jammu) were elected Vice Presidents. Balwan Singh Jasrotia (Jammu) and Sheikh Mohd Shafi (Kashmir) were elected Joint Secretaries. Jasbir Singh Randawa was elected Treasurer of the Association, while Manzoor Ahmed Mir was elected Legal Advisor of the Association.
The Executive Members of the Association included MM Sofi, Abdul Ahad Shah, Nazir Ahmed Mir, AR Ahanger, Manzoor Ahmed Dar, Ab Rashid Bhat, AR Paddar, Gulzar Ahmed, Rajdev Singh, Rajinder Kumar, Ram Dhan, Ali Mohd Mir, Narain Dass, Munir Hussain, Harbans Singh, OP Sangdha, Subash Chander, Narinder Kumar, Naresh Kumar.
