JAMMU, July 16: The Annual General Body meeting of J&K Olympic Association was held here today.
Besides other items of agenda, the participation of J&K UT contingent in the National Games to be hosted by Gujarat Olympic Association in various cities from September 27 to October 10, 2022 was discussed.
J&K UT Sports Associations present in the meeting were requested to start preparing for the selection trials, coaching camps, screening of teams and submit the final list to the J&K Olympic Association for further action.
A committee of six members including Yudhvir Singh, Sharat Chander Singh, Rajesh Dutta, Vikas Gupta, Jai Bharat and Sahil Sharma was constituted for initiating the process well in time.
The committee will work under the supervision of President, Secretary General and other senior members of the J&K Olympic Association.
