JAMMU, May 12: JK Medicity Private Limited completed its two years of service in J&K.
Addressing a joint press conference here today, Dr Gurjit Singh, Director, Cardiovascular Surgery, JK Medicity, Dr Mohan Lal, Director Cardiology, Dr Suresh Saraf, Director Urology and Managing Director, JK Medicity, Dr Gaganpreet Singh recounted the achievements of hospital.
They added that hospital was equipped with latest technology and in a period of two years, it has become a benchmark in the field of health care delivery in this part of the country.
They further said that hospital could boast of its ultra modern OTs, ICU, NICU and dialysis wings.
In addition to the basic Departments of Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology, Pediatric, Ortho, ENT, Dermatology, Oncology, the hospital is proud to have multi super specialty services available which include Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Cardio Vascular Surgery, Urology, Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, Neuro Surgery, Pediatric Surgery with highly qualified consultants in each field who have won the confidence of the patients of the region, they stated.
“The hospital has well equipped diagnostic wing having computerized lab, digital X-Ray, CT Scan, USG, ECG, TMT, Holter, Echo and Endoscopy”, they informed.
As a social responsibility towards society, JK Medicity has started “Reaching the rural masses” programme under which it has conducted free medical camps in collaboration with Director Health Service and local administration at Rajouri, Poonch, Mendhar, Ram Nagar and Ramkot, they stated.
On the academic front, teaching programmes for paramedics and a live workshop/CME on laser surgery for varicose veins was organized, which was attended by medical fraternity including PG students of Radiology and Surgery Department from GMC Jammu, they informed.
