JAMMU, Feb 20: 23-member State Wrestling team including 5 women Wrestlers left for Jaipur to participate in the 37th Boys Free Style, Greco Roman Style and 20th Women Junior National Wrestling Championship to be held at Jaipur in Rajasthan from February 22 to February 25, 2018.
MLC Ashok Khajuria was the chief guest during a function organized before the departure of the State team, who lauded the efforts of the Wrestlers for sealing berth in the team and appreciated the Association for promoting Wrestling in J&K.
The team : Anil Choudhay (57 kg), Rakesh Singh (61 kg), Munir Hussain (65 kg), Gulshan Chib (70 kg), Ranjeet Singh (74 kg), Vireshwar Sharma (79 kg), Ajay Chib (86 kg), Mahil Dogra (92 kg), Sanjeev Singh (97 kg), Salinder Singh (125 kg), Ashni Kumar (55 kg), Sachin Saini (61 kg), Bachan Singh (63 kg), Shubham Choudhary (97 kg), Liaqat Ali (97 kg), Mohd Asif (72 kg), Nadeem Ahmed (82 kg), Muzzafar Hussain (130 kg), Tanushi Choudhary (50 kg), Shivani Sharma (53 kg), Tania Sharma (55 kg), Swati Sharma (57 kg) and Kusum Rani (65 kg).
